Home automation market is evolving at a high speed in Belgium with game changers such as solar panels, electrical vehicles, connected meters and dynamic pricing. Schneider Electric by its position as market leader in Energy Management has a key role to play in this transformation.


In this context, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Build and implement the growth plan for Home Automation in Belgium
  • Identify success stories/best practice in the organization and on the market
  • Clarify competition and Schneider positioning/added value
  • Define, build and launch the appropriate offer for the Belgium market
  • Localize existing offer from the group and define & develop extra functionalities / architecture needed to be successful in Belgium
  • Set-up new partnerships and identify M&A targets if relevant
  • Build the commercial and pricing strategy
  • Coordinate with all the relevant stakeholders:
  • Home & Distribution Business Unit
  • Schneider Electric existing partners worldwide already active in this space
  • The local Belgium eco-system: energy providers, electricians, distributors, start-ups, universities, professional associations ..
  • The Schneider Belgium team: marketing, sales, e-mobility business developer,…


  • Proven experience in business development in the Home & Distribution industry
  • Good technical understanding of connected homes/building automation and digital (Software, Apps, Web)
  • Strong drive, energy and ability to deliver in a matrix international environment
  • Federative, collaborative and politically savvy
  • Autonomous and solution driven
  • Well organized and well structured
  • Language: English, French, Dutch
